Through our efforts, we aim to foster a love for music within communities and create opportunities for personal growth and self-expression.

Bridging Cultures Through the Power of Music

The Daraja Music Initiative is dedicated to empowering children in Tanzania by providing musical instruments and education. We created this program to raise funds to purchase instruments and supplies for their efforts in Tanzania. Through this initiative, we aim to foster creativity, build cultural connections, and inspire a new generation of musicians.

We collect donations to purchase new and used musical instruments, refurbish them, and distribute them to children and aspiring musicians who cannot afford to purchase or rent them. Our goal is to ensure that financial barriers do not hinder anyone's musical aspirations.

    We partner with MRW Artisan Instruments to have access to musical instruments and musical instrument repair services at discounted rates. MRW Artisan Instruments is our leading community partner in our Educational Workshops. We collaborate to teach band directors the basics of woodwind repair & maintenance, helping student succeed!
